The 5th Annual Black Hills Overdrive car shows and cruises are taking place in Rapid City and the Black Hills June 11th - 14th, 2009. Classics, customs, rods, tuners, and all other specialty vehicles are welcome to join in the fun.
This year's event schedule includes three new show 'n' shines and two new cruises. Each year we've taken feedback from our participants and applied it to the upcoming year's events. In addition to that, we try to keep the events and cruises fresh for both our sponsors and our participants. The Custer City Show 'n' Shine and the Concours De Custer are two such events that will "wow" cruisers. Also new to the lineup this year is the Downtown Cruiser Night Car Show in historic downtown Rapid City. The town's famous Cruiser Night Parade has moved to a Saturday slot and will be preceded by the huge car show.

This will be the first time that a fully-judged car show has taken place in downtown Rapid City, and the downtown merchants will choose the top 25 cars/trucks for awards. Last year's Cruiser Night Parade drew around 450 vehicles of all years, makes, and models.
